The incident occurred this Friday at around 8:00 AM on the central Paseo de Martí street, in the main city.
According to a report by communicator Yosmany Mayeta on Facebook, the individual was apprehended while attempting to steal some bags from a moving truck, apparently unaware that it was being monitored by police officers.
