A fuel truck crashed on Interstate 595 in Broward County this Sunday morning, causing a large fire.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. at exit two, according to the media NBC Miami. The truck had collided with a bus before bursting into flames.

According to the Davie police, the teams are working at the scene and assisting with traffic.

Videos of the scene show the tanker truck overturned with thick black smoke billowing from it.

Although it has not been specified if there were any fatalities, one person was airlifted to the hospital.

Authorities urged drivers to avoid both I-595 and State Road 84 westbound between Pine Island Road and Southwest 136th Avenue.
